Compass turns our evidence into your trip. Tell us the city. We'll show you the stays, the airport, the ship, the airline meal rules — each one labelled with the kind of evidence we hold, dated, the way our charter promises.
Your vouch is dated, reviewed by a human, and shown as a count — it never changes a venue's tier or ★. Safety stays evidence-only.
Level 1 — the evidence band. Every entry shows which kind of evidence we hold, with a source and a date: Community lead — not checked by us Listed by the venue The venue's own protocol, in their words Verified by us. The first three are published automatically from evidence we can point at. Only “Verified by us” and the ★ mean a person at How to Gluten Free checked it — never software, never popularity. The kitchen type (Dedicated / GF-serving) is a separate label; a band says what evidence we hold, never how a meal will go.
Level 2 — the community layer. Coeliacs who ate somewhere without a reaction can vouch, with a date. Vouches are reviewed by a person, displayed as a count, and never change a tier. The ✦ experience score rates taste and welcome — explicitly not safety.
What we never do: take bookings, sell placement into tiers, or put safety information behind a paywall.
